Phones / Email Use
Landmark students stay in touch with their families and home by email and phone. Landline phones are available in all residential houses.
Cell phone and email usage is permitted before school, after activities, during free time, and before bedtime. However, during the school day students are expected to stay focused on their schoolwork and are not allowed to use cell phones, text messaging or email.
In case of emergencies, parents should call houseparents directly. These numbers are given out at the start of the academic year.
Students may travel home once they have received written parental permission. To leave campus students must request a Day Pass or Weekend Pass. For the safety of every student this policy is closely monitored. Day passes are submitted to houseparents at least 24 hours prior to departure. Weekend passes are explained at the High School’s Orientation Program.
With advance planning, Landmark assists students with travel plans for holidays, including school vans, taxis, and bus transportation to Boston Logan Airport. Parents/guardians should contact Landmark well in advance and forward travel itineraries via email or fax to:
