Landmark School students recently won 53 Massachusetts Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, more than any private school in the state. Over 9,500 art pieces were submitted by students, grades 7 – 12, from public and private schools throughout Massachusetts in this year’s competition.

Landmark School, a boarding and day school for students (grades 2 – 12) with language-based learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, received 17 Gold Key pieces that will advance and be judged at the national Scholastic Art & Writing Awards competition with winners announced in May. Landmark students also won 18 Silver Keys and 18 Honorable Mention awards. Founded in 1923, the 90-year national art and writing competition is the longest running, most prestigious recognition program for teen artists and writers in the United States.
