Welcome to the 2025-2026 Academic Year!
This page is a one-stop resource for important details about what you and your student need to know about the start of the school year. This page will be updated throughout the summer to include more information.
2025 Start-of-School Dates
- Monday, August 18
- New Boarding Parents/Guardians House Meet-and-Greet, 5:00–5:30 p.m., Virtual via Zoom (link coming in August)
- Monday, August 25
- 10:00 a.m.–12:00 pm. - Returning Boarding Students Move In
- 12:00– 3:00 p.m. - New Boarding Students Move In
- 3:00–5:00 p.m. - New boarding parent welcome sessions with House Parent, Advisory Leader, and Orientation with Academic Dean, Dean of Students, and Head of High School
- 5:15–6:45 p.m. - New Parent/Guardian Reception (for ALL new parents/guardians, including boarding and day student parents and parents of students coming from the EMS) REGISTER
- Tuesday, August 26
- 7:30–8:00 a.m. - Student drop off and day student registration at Ansara Athletic Center
- 8:00 a.m. to Noon - Orientation for ALL High School students
- 7:30–8:00 a.m. - Coffee reception for parents in Alexander Pavilion
- 8:15–10:00 a.m. - Informational meeting with High School administrators and Advisory Leaders in the Performing Arts Center*
*This meeting is designed for parents/guardians whose day student is new to Landmark’s High School. Our goal is to provide you with the opportunity to become more familiar with the program, meet administrators and advisory leaders, and ask questions.
- Wednesday, August 27
- 8:00 a.m. to Noon - Orientation for ALL High School students
- Thursday, August 28
- 8:00 a.m. to Noon - First day of classes (Blue day)
- Friday, August 29
- 8:00 a.m. to Noon - Classes (Gold day)
- Monday, September 1
- No School for Labor Day
- Tuesday, September 2
- Full day of classes begin (8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)

What to Bring to Orientation
For student orientation on Tuesday, August 26 & Wednesday, August 27, students should:
- Wear clothing they are comfortable being active in. While students should dress appropriately, no dress code is enforced until classes begin on Thursday, August 28.
- Students do not need school supplies or backpacks until classes begin on Thursday, August 28.

Metro West Van
A parent-coordinated van service coming from MetroWest has spots available for fall 2025. The High School van stops in Newton and Lexington. Please contact the High Schoolparent coordinators for more information and availability:
