Landmark Athletes Achieve Milestones
May 13th, 2021
Landmark High School's Athletic Department had reason to celebrate this week, with two athletes reaching century-mark milestones.
On Monday, Josiah Castellucci '21 notched his 100th win in his high school wrestling career! It's an incredible accomplishment for any high school wrestler, but to do it in three seasons is especially remarkable. Landmark's winter wrestling season was canceled this year due to Covid-19. Josiah took to the mat in Marblehead for his hometown district of Gloucester and defeated his 152-pound opponent for the big win. This comes on the heels of earning two victories at the National Prep School Championships in Pennsylvania last week.
In a big win against Pingree on Thursday, Bella Cahill '21 scored her 100th lacrosse goal!
"This really is an incredible and rare accomplishment, similar to scoring 1,000 points in basketball," said coach Mary Guinee.
Way to go Bella and Josiah!
