What is the Capstone project?
Landmark School's Capstone project offers seniors a unique opportunity to apply their learning in a real-world context, fostering growth and independence as they explore their passions. Whether through internships, community service, or independent work, this three-week experience is designed to inspire and challenge students as they take their next step beyond the classroom.
When does Capstone happen?
All seniors will be participating in a Capstone experience. Seniors will end their academic schedule at the end of April and complete final exams. After final exams, all seniors will be involved in a three-week Capstone project that could include an off-campus internship, community service project, or on-campus independent project.
Who helps seniors with their Capstone?
Students will work closely with relevant teachers, tutors, Advisors, guidance counselors, and administrators throughout the year to identify a project of interest and develop the necessary skills, connections, and plans to effectively engage in their Capstone. The entire Capstone experience will be closely overseen by a small team of Department Heads, Guidance Counselors, and Administrators to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
