Gaven M., senior captain of the boy's varsity lacrosse team, takes Athlete of the Week honors this week.

Gaven’s leadership skills have been stellar through the early part of the season. He encourages his teammates and helps to create opportunities for everyone on and off the field. Gaven embodies the motto: "Do the right thing…even when no one is looking." He has earned a starting role on the boys varsity lax team through hard work and a dedication to learning and improving every day. Gaven believes the most rewarding outcomes are a product of being challenged. He is dedicated to the team and motivated to empower team mates. Gaven can often be heard breaking from the team huddle leading a cheer - "As one!"
