Growing Up In Public by Devorah Heitner

Landmark School is pleased to co-host, with Berwick Academy and Glen Urquhart School, a virtual webinar with Dr. Devorah Heitner, author of Growing Up In Public. The webinar will focus around the topic that is on the minds of parents and caregivers and educators alike: raising children in today's digital age.

Growing Up in Public Synopsis

“Drawing on her extensive work with parents and schools as well as hundreds of interviews with kids, parents, educators, clinicians, and scholars, Heitner offers strategies for parenting our kids in an always-connected world. With relatable stories and research-backed advice, Growing Up in Public empowers parents to cut through the overwhelm to connect with their kids, recognize how to support them, and help them figure out who they are when everyone is watching.”

Notes: While it would be helpful context, reading Growing Up in Public is not a prerequisite for attending the November 7 webinar. This webinar is intended for current Landmark School, Berwick Academy, and Glen Urquhart School parents and guardians. The presentation will be recorded and available exclusively to the respective schools' parent communities and is not meant for external distribution.
