Job Title: Health Center Administrative Coordinator
Location: Landmark High School School Health Center
Department: Health Services
Reports To: Director of Health Services
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Monday-Friday 

Job Summary

Landmark School is seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our school’s Health Services Department as an Administrative Coordinator. Under the guidance of the Director of Health Services, the ideal candidate will manage the health center's logistical operations, including database management, communication with students, families, and staff, and provide logistical support to ensure the smooth functioning of the high school health center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Database Management: Manage the Magnus Health database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of student health information. Participate in Magnus training sessions, as needed.
  • Phone and Email Communication: Answer phones and manage the health center’s email inbox, responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Monitor student attendance in coordination with the Academic Office and ensure clear and effective communication with families and staff regarding health-related absences.
  • Student Transportation: Organize and/or provide transportation to students for off-campus appointments when necessary, ensuring all logistics are managed smoothly.
  • Prescription Coordination: Track and coordinate prescription refills for students, working with local pharmacies, physicians, and families to ensure timely refills.
  • General Support: Assist with day-to-day health center operations, as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using database systems (experience with Magnus Health is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with Health Center colleagues and interface with constituents in a school environment. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to transport students, as needed.
  • Previous experience in a school or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent administrative or healthcare  experience.
