EMS Students Welcomed into New House System at Inaugural Ceremony
August 30th, 2024
On Friday, August 30, the EMS gym was transformed into a vibrant scene for the House Welcoming Ceremony, marking the launch of the school's new House System. Elementary and Middle School students gathered with staff to celebrate this exciting initiative, designed to enhance both academic and personal growth.
Students and staff alike were sorted into one of four houses: Septentrio (North), Meridies (South), Oriens (East), or Occidens (West). Together, they will engage in house meetings and student-centered activities that foster collaboration, respect, and effort—all aligned with the school’s core values of exploration, character, and empowerment. The ceremony was filled with excitement, anticipation, and a sense of unity as students looked forward to the year ahead.
