It was a memorable day at Landmark as we officially unveiled our brand-new Student Center, a key milestone of the Meeting the Moment initiative. Mr. Barrett and Mr. Clark spoke about the dedication and hard work that brought this vision to life, highlighting the importance of this space in fostering student connection and growth. The whole Landmark community gathered in the new courtyard behind the Alexander Building to celebrate the occasion — and enjoy some delicious whoopie pies! This new space is already bringing students together, and we’re excited for all the memories that will be made here.

The Student Center features a large area where students can hang out, watch TV, play board games, and connect with friends. Students have already started enjoying the space in the morning, at Milkbreak, after lunch, and after school. We’ve also added two new vending machines, a ping-pong table, and a pool table. In addition, it serves as the new hub for our Residential Life Team and Student Life Office, making it a central space for building community and fostering friendships.

As part of our Meeting the Moment initiative, we’re expanding the Alexander Academic Building to create more purposeful spaces to enhance our students' experiences, including expanded facilities for learning, playing, and thriving.
