Citizenship and Character Workshop Series
November 1st, 2024
We are excited to announce a new workshop series for each grade level focused on citizenship and character, designed to strengthen our Landmark School community values and cultivate individual student growth. Each high school grade will participate in a workshop centered on a unique theme that promotes self-reflection and positive character building.
Kicking off the series, the 9th-grade class gathered this morning in the dining hall for a workshop on “Identity.” Students had the chance to reflect on their own identities and creatively express them through art. Each student designed a tile that illustrates an essential part of who they are and these tiles will be combined to create a vibrant mosaic, representing the diverse identities within the freshman class. Once complete, the mosaic will be displayed in a frame on Alexander's second floor as a lasting symbol of our unity and individuality.
We are excited to continue this series as upcoming workshops for other grades as we continue our journey of personal and community growth!
