Landmark Students Teach Teachers in Sewing Workshop
February 6th, 2025
For their midyear exam, students in Ms. Hillier’s Fashion & Costume Design class took on a new role—teaching! They hosted a sewing workshop for teachers, guiding them through the basics of sewing, including machine setup, stitching straight lines, zig-zags, and curves. The final challenge? Helping their teacher partners create their very own tote bags.
Among the eager participants was Mr. Clark who used a sewing machine for the very first time! The results? A mix of impressive craftsmanship, a few tangled threads, and plenty of laughs.
